At Metvy, we are building the future of skill development through a learning driven ecosystem powered by Cohort Based Courses & Communities. So far, we have successfully up-skilled over 5000 youngsters from top institutions of India and top brands and built an active community of over 10,000. Our aim is to impact more than 1M youngsters by 2025. We are backed & funded by marquee angels as well as mentors working with the top management of brands like Google, Facebook, YouTube & PwC
We realised a need for an ecosystem involving professionals and youngsters to connect and learn from each other through mentorship and built an app which trended organically on both App Store & Play Store with over 50,000 downloads - all this before we completed college.
We realised that our users wanted to be learners and needed a more structured format of mentorship, as they struggled to bag opportunities at the onset of Covid19. Metvy became one of the first startups in India to experiment with and launch Live Cohorts.
We raised a small round of funding and got incubated at IIM-Bangalore’s NSRCEL. We further started conducting plethora of experiments to understand and optimise learner’s experience in our cohorts. We witnessed first signs of pre-PMF as we got the majority of our learners through referrals.
We raised another round, and started optimising our model for scalability - as we witnessed 2x growth with minimal burn. We also made it to Transcend Fellowship - (YC for Ed-techs).
We are now increasing our catalogue of affordable cohorts to bless the world with our magical learning experience, as we replace online courses with cohorts - one skill at a time.
